About Julie Lasne

- HUMAN-WILDLIFE CONFLICTS / OUTREACH / CONSERVATION & FIELD ETHOLOGY / INVESTIGATION & TRAFFIC / ETHICAL COMMUNICATION & ANIMAL ADVOCACY / ARTIST ACTIVIST -
TARGET SECTORS:
National Parks; NGO & governmental organizations; ethical, environmental, humanitarian & animal causes. I conceive as well:
- 360° field analyses as outreaches and participatory solutions to mitigate wildlife concerns (Big Cats, Elephants, Big Apes, Otters...)
- Creative advertising and communication campaigns - events awarded for all stakeholders involved in endangered species programs, environmental crimes, RSE, social & public health.
I work to unit the different parties and interest involved (public, private, politics as traditional and administrative authorities) to develop 360° thrusts to increase public awareness.
FIELD STUDY ABROAD:
- Programs for cats & big cats conservation and reintroduction; investigations on canned hunting and bones traffic; Human-Elephant Conflicts and Human-Lion Conflicts; outreach of local populations and rangers in animal behaviour; poaching crime scene analyse; migration corridors rehabilitation...
- Programs for orangutans preservation (Borneo...): human activity impact study and field analyse based on last wild orangutans, gibbons, red langurs, sunbears and clouded leopards.
- Field solutions for captive Neotropical otters reintroduction based on my MSc thesis in Ethology:"Could associative learning and conditioning in the captive neotropical otters’ feeding procedure reduce negative effects of captivity ?"
