From the bush to the jungles, here is a glimpse filmed of what a small woman (me) is undertaking for Wildlife and for all Animals, non human as human ones , in more than 30 countries this last 15 years:
– From a hut in the midst of the burning jungle of Borneo with the last wild orangutans dying of hunger;
– At the « five o’clock tea » threatening to end up being brought down water by people linked to the trafficking of tiger and lion bones;
– To cough with the gibbons – unable to sing – stifled by deforestation fires for palm oil;
– – Thorny struggle in the Namibian bush where the last cheetahs lose their eyes;
– To revive the lycaons and the savanna of the no man’s land left by the herds of « farmers »;
– To the Brazilian forests and jungles to lend a hand to the jaguars, tapirs and others against the wild advance of the road network … Just for some examples…
If in a world of fictitious activities and skills, those who really do things remain silent, then it is a fictitious planet that will remain to us tomorrow.
That is why, I start filming my relationships with my bosses animals … In order to give them the floor, to make understand, as well their sensitivity, as their needs, as our responsibility and where we have power – for all of us – of changing things for them … In good, or in evil as often.
So, « Be the change you want to see in the world » (Mahatma Gandhi), and share it.
