Meaning / Démarche

Painter sculptor or sculptor painter, there is no physical border to look through my work to give a voice to those who lack it, to hear the unspeakable or unbearable to try to translate what they feel, what I perceive about that … to contribute to change the world and bring more love there.
Before entering fully into the sculpture, I always worked my painting as a volume: carving, incising and etching the thickest paper, looking for wax-based techniques, with sand, plaster, and so forth. The idea was to paint directly with my hands to feel the surfaces and try to translate and « touch the soul » of my subjects. To do this, I added the extra thickness, I combined the art of fresco (I had learned) in the hope of thereby giving a « body » to my painting.
Hindered by my health, a lot of deceases, the lack of space as well as financial and technical constraints of Paris, the urgency of sculpting has nevertheless imposed to me as to my apartment and to the workshops shared with friends when it was possible.
At the suffering and problems of our world, I can not remain impassive … This is what led me to combine and to place at the service of these causes: my various professional skills as  artist, as creative in communication and advertising or as scientist / ethologist (science of animal behavior) to bring my stone in « bronze » to the building of a « fairer and better » world.
Both through my artwork, my job for a communication in the service of ethical causes, and on the field as a specialist in animal behavior, I get involved in the rescue and preservation of endangered species as abandoned and mistreated animals through scientific expeditions, conservation and animal welfare projects or works to reduce conflicts between wildlife and people (both worldwide as in Paris).
